POSITION SUMMARY
As a Field Service Engineer at JASA, based out of Richmond, VA, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our industrial equipment and systems. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional on-site technical support, maintenance, and repair services to our valued customers. By installing, commissioning, and troubleshooting a wide range of machinery, you will contribute to maximizing equipment performance and minimizing downtime.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance, collaborating with customers to understand their needs, and providing effective solutions to address any concerns. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in training customers on equipment operation, maintenance, and best practices, empowering them to optimize their productivity and efficiency.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide on-site technical support, maintenance, and repair services for JASA's packaging solutions.
- Install, commission, and troubleshoot a wide range of machinery, including packaging equipment, conveyor systems, and automated solutions.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their requirements, address concerns, and provide effective solutions to meet their needs.
- Train customers on equipment operation, maintenance, and best practices to enhance their productivity and efficiency.
- Document service activities, including diagnostics, repairs, and parts replacement, and maintain accurate service reports and records.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and product knowledge to provide expert guidance and support to customers.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols at all times, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in field service engineering, preferably in the packaging equipment or machinery industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
- Proficient in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Flexibility to travel extensively to customer sites within the assigned region.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
